Matthew joined Taylor Bennett in 2002, having previously worked as a journalist. He leads international searches for senior appointments in the fields of corporate affairs and government relations across the EMEA region. Matthew also works on global assignments in conjunction with Taylor Bennett’s Asia offices and US-based partner firm, Heyman Associates. A graduate of the London Business School’s Emerging Leaders Programme, Matthew previously read Latin American studies and Spanish at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Kate joined Taylor Bennett as a Director in 2015. She works on senior level Corporate Affairs and Communications searches across all sectors in the UK and internationally.

She has worked in executive search since 2004, initially at Whitehead Mann and then Odgers Berndtson where she led the Corporate Communications Practice. Her earlier career was spent as an Officer in the British Army. Kate graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA (hons) in History of Art.

Professor Heather McGregor, CBE is the principal shareholder and non-executive chairman of the executive search firm Taylor Bennett, having bought the company from its founders in 2004. In her early career she worked in financial PR and investor relations before doing an MBA at the London Business School and joining ABN Amro as a sellside analyst. She then spent eight years with the bank, working in London, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo, before joining Taylor Bennett in 2000. She is the Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, the graduate school of business of Heriot Watt University.

Heather has a PhD from the University of Hong Kong. She was the founder of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, which works to promote diversity in the communications industry by equipping talented graduates from ethnic minorities with the skills and confidence to pursue successful communications careers. Heather was a founding member of the steering committee of the 30% Club, which is working to raise the representation of women at senior levels within the UK’s publicly quoted companies. She is also an experienced writer and broadcaster, and wrote under the pseudonym Mrs Moneypenny in the Financial Times for 17 years.

Katherine joined Taylor Bennett in July 2002. After graduating from Edinburgh University with a degree in History of Art, she joined a leading PR consultancy working predominantly in financial public relations. Since transferring her skills to Taylor Bennett, she has worked across the business supporting and advising on both UK and international searches, with a particular emphasis on investor relations, corporate communications, financial PR and in financial services.

Jessica joined Taylor Bennett in 2010 and works on corporate communications searches with particular specialism in government affairs, in the UK and across Continental Europe, and internal communications. Prior to joining Taylor Bennett, she worked for a Member of Parliament. She graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Social Policy, which included a half year placement in Hong Kong.

Claudia joined Taylor Bennett in 2012. She consults across a range of senior level corporate affairs and communications assignments, and has particular experience in the investor relations discipline. Based in London, her work to date has spanned EMEA, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific.

Claudia graduated in Classics from the University of Cambridge and holds an MBA from Imperial College London. She is a trustee of the Taylor Bennett Foundation, a registered charity founded by Taylor Bennett in 2007 to improve diversity within the communications industry.

Victoria joined Taylor Bennett in June 2015, and supports the consultants and directors by conducting comprehensive research across a broad range of senior corporate communications assignments. Prior to this she spent over a year and a half developing her research skills and industry knowledge at Grace Blue, an executive search firm specialising in the advertising, marketing and communications sectors. Victoria graduated from the University of Edinburgh in 2013 with an MA in History.

Annabel is a former Director of Taylor Bennett with 18 years of search experience across public, private and not for profit organisations. As a consultant, she is now responsible for managing Taylor Bennett’s searches in the not for profit sector. Annabel graduated from Durham University with a degree in Modern Languages.

Sara graduated in modern languages from the University of Exeter in 1991. Having started her career in marketing, she moved into corporate and financial communications and investor relations, in London and then Hong Kong. In Hong Kong Sara went on to set up and manage a practice specialising in headhunting public relations professionals, before establishing her own firm (Sara Wells Associates), focusing on executive search for corporate communications professionals across Asia. Having joined Taylor Bennett in Hong Kong in 2004, Sara has moved to the UK where she continues to cover the Asian marketplace, and oversees the operations of the Taylor Bennett Heyman companies in Hong Kong and Singapore, together with its interest in Germany.

Georgia joined Taylor Bennett in January 2015, after graduating from the University of London with a master’s degree in History of Art, specialising in Medieval manuscripts. She received her BA degree from Sarah Lawrence College in New York, and spent a year abroad at the University of Edinburgh. Georgia has dual citizenship with Australia and the United States. Prior to working at Taylor Bennett, she ran special events for a networking company.

Fiona joined Taylor Bennett in 2016 to oversee the Group’s financial operations in the UK. After graduating from Birmingham University, she trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before moving into industry, where she was a member of the senior finance team at the Camelot group of companies for more than 10 years. She brings a wide range of expertise in financial operations and reporting, managing all aspects of the UK Group’s financial operations, liaising with her counterparts in our sister companies around the world, and supporting the Business’ strategic objectives from a financial perspective.
