Matthew joined Taylor Bennett in 2002, having previously worked as a journalist. Based in London, he is the Managing Partner of the business and leads international searches for senior appointments in the fields of corporate affairs, government relations and sustainability. For global assignments, Matthew works in conjunction with Taylor Bennett Heyman, in Asia, our DACH region partner, GK Personalberatung, and US-based partners, Heyman Associates.

A graduate of the London Business School’s Emerging Leaders Programme, Matthew previously read Latin American studies and Spanish at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. He is a trustee of The Taylor Bennett Foundation which delivers award-winning programmes that help BAME graduates to start a career in corporate affairs.

Kate is a Partner at Taylor Bennett, having joined in 2015. She leads searches for senior appointments in the fields of corporate affairs and communications, internal communications and employee engagement and investor relations, across all sectors in the UK and internationally. For global assignments, she works in conjunction with TBH in Asia Pacific and our other partners – GK in the DACH region and Heyman Associates in the US.

Kate has worked in executive search since 2004, initially with Whitehead Mann and then Odgers Berndtson where she led the Corporate Communications Practice. Her earlier career was spent as an Officer in the British Army. She graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA (hons) in History of Art. She is a Trustee of The Keep Military Museum in Dorchester.

Professor Heather McGregor, CBE is the non-executive chairman of Taylor Bennett. She previously served as the Managing Director of Taylor Bennett from 2004 to 2016, having joined the company in 2000. In her early career she worked in financial PR and investor relations, and in investment banking.

She is currently the Executive Dean of Edinburgh Business School, the graduate school of business of Heriot Watt University. She is also an experienced writer and broadcaster, and wrote under the pseudonym Mrs Moneypenny in the Financial Times for 17 years. During her time at Taylor Bennett, she was a founding member of the steering committee of the 30% Club and the founder of the Taylor Bennett Foundation.

Katherine joined Taylor Bennett in July 2002. After graduating from Edinburgh University with a degree in History of Art, she joined a leading PR consultancy working predominantly in financial public relations. Since transferring her skills to Taylor Bennett, she has worked across the business supporting and advising on both UK and international searches, with a particular emphasis on investor relations, corporate communications, financial PR and in financial services.

Kate joined Taylor Bennett in 2013, having spent five years seeking out talent within the corporate marketing communications arena both domestically and internationally; first at Executive Search firm, Grace Blue then followed by its sister selection business, Indigo Mile where she was part of building the Marketing and Integrated Advertising practice. Kate read English Linguistics at King’s College London.

Jessica joined Taylor Bennett in 2010 and works on corporate communications searches with particular specialism in government affairs, in the UK and across Continental Europe, and internal communications. Prior to joining Taylor Bennett, she worked for a Member of Parliament. She graduated from the University of Bristol with a degree in Social Policy, which included a half year placement in Hong Kong.

Annabel is a former Director of Taylor Bennett with 18 years of search experience across public, private and not for profit organisations. As a consultant, she is now responsible for managing Taylor Bennett’s searches in the not for profit sector. Annabel graduated from Durham University with a degree in Modern Languages.

Laura joined Taylor Bennett in January 2013, having graduated from Edinburgh University with an MA (Hons) in History. Having honed her skills in the research function, she now works as a Consultant, responsible for managing both UK and international corporate communications searches across sectors, with a particular specialism in internal communications.

Ross joined Taylor Bennett in June 2018, having previously worked for the selection arm of the business, Unicorn Jobs. He now works across both Taylor Bennett roles and provides support to the Unicorn team. His background is in politics and public affairs.

Ross is a graduate from the University of Maastricht and the University of Hull with an MA in European Public Affairs and a BA in British Politics in Legislative Studies. He has lived in the UK, Belgium and the Netherlands.

Luke Williams joined Taylor Bennett in January 2018, having graduated from SOAS, University of London, with a degree in Chinese Studies. Prior to this, Luke worked as an English Language teacher in Jiangxi, China.  At Taylor Bennett, Luke supports the Consultants and Partners in a wide range of senior UK and International Corporate Communications assignments.

Sara graduated in modern languages from the University of Exeter in 1991. Having started her career in marketing, she moved into corporate and financial communications and investor relations, in London and then Hong Kong. In Hong Kong Sara went on to set up and manage a practice specialising in headhunting public relations professionals, before establishing her own firm (Sara Wells Associates), focusing on executive search for corporate communications professionals across Asia. Having joined Taylor Bennett in Hong Kong in 2004, Sara has moved to the UK where she continues to cover the Asian marketplace, and oversees the operations of the Taylor Bennett Heyman companies in Hong Kong and Singapore, together with its interest in Germany.

Georgia joined Taylor Bennett in January 2015, after graduating from the University of London with a master’s degree in History of Art, specialising in Medieval manuscripts. She received her BA degree from Sarah Lawrence College in New York, and spent a year abroad at the University of Edinburgh. Georgia has dual citizenship with Australia and the United States. Prior to working at Taylor Bennett, she ran special events for a networking company.

Jodie joined Taylor Bennett in May 2018 as Personal Assistant to the Partners. Previous to this she worked for a charity and more recently a luxury kitchen company. Jodie spent time travelling throughout the United States and Asia before settling in London to start her career.

Fiona joined Taylor Bennett in 2016 to oversee the Group’s financial operations in the UK. After graduating from Birmingham University, she trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG before moving into industry, where she was a member of the senior finance team at the Camelot group of companies for more than 10 years. She brings a wide range of expertise in financial operations and reporting, managing all aspects of the UK Group’s financial operations, liaising with her counterparts in our sister companies around the world, and supporting the Business’ strategic objectives from a financial perspective.
