Airdre Taylor and Annita Bennett established Taylor Bennett in 1982, following successful careers in communications and human resources at multinational companies.
The company grew steadily thanks to repeat business and referrals from satisfied clients. The arrival of director Barry Eaglestone in 1989, with his background in PR recruitment, strengthened the consultancy further.
Chantal Tregear joined in 1999 having been both a communications and HR practitioner for ten years. As the director leading the internal communications practice she consolidated our expertise in this discipline.
In 2000, Heather McGregor, a former investment banker and IR practitioner, was appointed to drive the investor relations search practice across Europe.
In 2002, with more than 80 per cent of clients operating in Asia, Sara Wells, an experienced Pacific Rim communications headhunter and former PR professional, joined us as the director covering this market.
Kay Fynmore, formerly Managing Director, HR, at Burson-Marsteller in New York, was appointed a director of Taylor Bennett in 2007.
Taylor Bennett staff now totals 22, including consultants, researchers and administrators.
The company celebrated its 25th anniversary last year.
